Advent reflection

During this time of reflection, people particularly enjoy melodies and carols. But music isn't just made behind closed doors. Advent carols are a long-standing tradition, from the Ore Mountains to Lusatia.

For many Saxons, Christmas festivities revolve around the Christian notion of the birth of Jesus, which is why the next few pages will contain a lot of information about vespers, masses and concerts. Anyone is cordially invited to join in and celebrate this time of reflection and contemplation.

Being able to listen to the Christmas oratorios is a feast for the senses. Be enchanted by the incredible emotion of Saxony's most famous boys' choirs, and learn more about the Thomaner and Kruzianer!
